Funny how listening to yourself allows for some perspective on how you sound. :D Though I'm not sure I've noticed the sentence delays myself. I know I [...]

Our Privacy Policy

tl;dr

We don't want access your Facebook or G+ friends list. We're not going to sell your info to third parties. We don't compile demographic info to customize ads to you. We do track information you post here. We keep normal server logs that match pages served with your IP address.

Long Version

Ok, here's the deal - We use a login system only to prevent spam. Since this site exists only to provide information about our game, we don't really care about tracking our users, we won't sell user information to other parties, we won't gather demographics (unless we explicitly ask in polls, etc.) about our users and/or their friends and relatives.

Here's what we do do -

1) An identifier is stored on our servers - This identifier is your G+ user number or email address. Without this identifier, we have no way of matching you up to your settings, previous comments, and alerts every time you visit the site.

2) We don't share that identifier with any third parties or provide a way for third parties to match up your activity on our site with your identifier - Unless of course you choose your G+ user number or your email address as your username on the site, which would be kind of a weird thing to do.

3) We store your activity on this site - we have to. This site allows comments, uploads, and other interactive features and without being able to tie this activity to your identifier, we can't match you up to replies, notifications, or other material coming back from the site to you. This does mean that we track your IP information. Even if we didn't manually track your IP, we would still be logging your IP because that's how access logs work. And yes, it means we can compare your IP to your activity on the website. And yes, that means that, if presented with a valid warrant by a governing agency, we have to turn that information over to them.

4) A hash of your user name is stored in a cookie in your browser. This cookie is used to track your login state. It contains only that hash. Even if a hacker gets a copy of your cookie and uses a table to break the hash, all they'll get is your user name, which they can get far easier from our website.

Here's what we don't do with your information -

1) Post to your G+ timeline - We don't care.

2) Get a list of your friends and relatives - Again, we don't care.

And that's really it.
